In a BBC Three show, it has been claimed that Hollyoaks is the ultimate television show that we hate to love.
The Most Annoying TV… We Hate To Love showcased the 100 TV shows that the nation loves, but hates or feels ashamed of the fact that we do.
In what seemed like a never-ending list, Hollyoaks managed to make it to the top. Talking heads told us what is so brilliant about it and gave us the usual preconceived misconceptions about the cast being unable to act; we know that isn’t true, at least not any more.
And the thing that was the most annoying? Well, it was the opening credits of course! It was mocked to death!
